Game Overview
Yejin and his sister Li go to practice martial arts in the Wanfa sect, cut off from the main world. Ten years later, a mysterious organization proclaiming itself as the “Legion of Void” attacked the Wanfa Sect. Many followers of the sect were killed, Sister Yejin was captured, and the entire world was plunged into chaos.
Bloody Spell is a hardcore roglite action RPG from the Chinese studio Yi Long Games. The game is a mixture of a roguelike and a slasher. From the first, the game contains strong enemies, no passive HP regen and challenge bosses, as well as pseudo-generated levels in which the location of enemies, secrets and traps change after each of your deaths. There are also no checkpoints at the levels, and after death the character loses all equipment (but not leveling up). So every time is like the first time. From the second, a flexible combat system was taken that allows you to switch to different types of weapons, each of which differs from the other in strength, range and combinations, as well as the “Bloody Spell” system, which grants various skills such as time dilation, counterattacks and hidden murder. In addition to all this, they promise various interesting side quests and mini-games, as well as co-op for two players.
